1. Information We Collect

Information Provided by You

We collect information you provide directly to us, including through contact forms, "Talk With Us" forms, hosting quote forms, support communications, and email correspondence. This may include: name, company name, email address, phone number, subject lines, message content, requested services, and project details.

Information Collected Automatically

As you navigate and interact with our Services, we collect certain technical and usage information, such as IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, page views, referring pages, interaction events, and date/time information.

Cookie and Preference Information

We collect cookie preference information, consent settings, and related technical identifiers to manage analytics, live chat, and essential site functionality. We also use region information from request headers to apply consent defaults based on country.

Information From Service Integrations

If you choose to book a meeting, use live chat, or otherwise use an integrated third-party tool, we receive information necessary to process that request.

2. How We Collect Your Information

We collect information in three primary ways:

  • You give us information. You submit information through forms, emails, live chat, scheduling workflows, and other direct communications.

  • We collect information automatically. We use server logs, cookies, and similar technologies to collect technical and usage information when you use our Services.

  • We receive information from other sources. We may receive information from service providers or integrations that support analytics, communications, security, and support workflows.

Do Not Track Disclosures

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. At this time, our Services do not respond differently based on DNT signals. Additional information about DNT is available at allaboutdnt.com.

Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and related technologies for essential website operation, analytics, and live chat functionality. Cookie names and purposes currently used on our Services are disclosed on our Cookie Settings page.

You can set your browser to refuse or alert on cookies, and you can adjust site-level cookie choices using our cookie controls. Certain features may not function properly if non-essential cookies are disabled.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use information we collect to provide, improve, and protect our Services. Specifically, we may use your information:

  • To provide requested services, respond to inquiries, and communicate with you about your requests.

  • To operate, maintain, and improve our website, forms, support processes, and service delivery workflows.

  • To send service and marketing communications where permitted by law.

  • To monitor usage trends and measure performance (including via analytics when enabled by your cookie settings).

  • To detect, prevent, and mitigate security threats, abuse, spam, and fraud.

  • To comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms, and protect rights, property, and safety.

  • To support corporate transactions such as mergers, reorganizations, financings, or asset sales.

  • To create de-identified or aggregated data for business and operational analysis.

4. Children's Information

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take commercially reasonable steps to delete that information.

5. Sharing of Information with Third Parties

We may share information with service providers and integrations that help us operate our business and Services, including:

  • Infrastructure and edge/network providers (including CDN and request routing services).

  • Analytics systems, including our Matomo analytics deployment (analytics.lodus.io) when analytics cookies are enabled.

  • Live chat systems, including Rocket.Chat (starship.lodus.net) when live chat cookies are enabled.

  • Spam and abuse prevention tooling, including Google reCAPTCHA integrations when enabled.

  • Email and communications infrastructure, including SMTP and CRM workflows used to process inquiries and leads.

  • Scheduling providers when you choose to book a meeting (for example, through Calendly links).

We may also disclose information: (a) to comply with law, legal process, or enforceable governmental request; (b) to enforce our agreements; (c) to protect rights, security, and property; or (d) as part of a business transaction such as a merger, sale, or financing.

Third-party services may collect information according to their own privacy terms when you choose to interact with those services.

6. Links to Third Party Websites

Our Services may link to third-party websites for convenience. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or policies of third-party websites.

7. Your Choices Regarding Your Information

You can choose whether to provide personal information, but some features require it. You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information, subject to applicable law.

To manage cookie preferences, use our Cookie Settings page. You can also adjust browser settings to refuse or remove cookies.

To opt out of promotional emails, use the unsubscribe link in those emails or contact us at support@lodus.io.

We do not currently operate third-party display ad network targeting on this website. If this changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide available opt-out methods.

8. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may have privacy rights under applicable California law, including rights to request access to, deletion of, correction of, and information about disclosure of certain personal information. You may also have rights under California Civil Code Section 1798.83 regarding disclosure of certain information sharing for direct marketing purposes.

10. How We Protect Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

Our Services use encrypted transport in modern browsers (for example, HTTPS/TLS). Even with these safeguards, no internet or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to Our Privacy Policy
